Saturday the National Park Service celebrated man's 102nd anniversary of powered flight. At Wright Brothers National Memorial Saturday, hundreds gathered for the annual air show celebrating Orville and Wilbur's achievement on December 17th, 1903. The were parachute jumps and aerial maneuvers in the sky. The Famed Candy Bomber that delivered treats for children over the city of Berlin following World War II was also part of the action. The weather held out but spectators still bundled up atop the monument. Breezy and chilly, but a great day to celebrate one of mankinds' greatest feats.
