The tragedy at Sago Mine in West Virginia and the misinformation family members endured has many in Eastern Carolina reacting passionately. Many national, state and local newspapers printed headlines declaring 12 miners were found alive when in fact hours later it was confirmed 12 miners were actually dead and one in critical condition. People in Eastern Carolina we talked to said the pain and frustration for family members must be unbearable. As for where to place the blame, people we talked to weren't quite sure where to begin pointing the finger.
