A student in a Lenoir County school apparently found a way around computer software meant to block students from chat rooms. Authorities say that led to the arrest of a man they say tried to solicit the 14-year-old girl for sex.
The suspect is identified as 30-year old Charlie Omar Castro. He was arrested by Lenoir County Sheriff's Deputies after he arrived at an undisclosed Kinston motel to meet a deputy posing as the girl. School officials are now looking into their computer software.
