The record breaking 2005 hurricane season just came to an end a week ago, and already predictions are out for next year. Well known hurricane forecaster Doctor William Gray says next year's Atlantic hurricane season won't be as destructive as the one that just ended. Gray says while 2006 will probably see higher-than-average hurricane activity, there will be fewer intense storms making landfall. Gray predicts 17 named storms next year compared to 26 this year.
