Fire crews in Carteret County have a condo fire under control.

The fire broke out this morning at the Nautical Club on Salter Path Road in Indian Beach. That condo complex is under construction.

The Salter Path Fire Department says the fire originated from a tar kettle that was being used to lay roofing materials.

The fire itself was contained to the 10th floor, and firefighters say none of the lower floors were damaged..

Five fire departments had the blaze under control within an hour.
