Traffic Stop Results In Drug Arrest

While most of you were at home enjoying your turkey Thursday, others were hard at work, like North Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers. Troopers were out enforcing two programs this holiday weekend -- "Operation C.A.R.E" or combined accident reduction effort, and "Booze It and Loose It," which means more troopers on the highway. And the Highway Patrol in Beaufort County hit paydirt. The arrested 28-year-old Boshond Smith for numerous charges including driving while intoxicated and possession of about 13-grams of crack cocaine. They also seized $26,000 in cash.
