Chrysler announced the recall of nearly 87,000 Jeep Wranglers worldwide.

The recall is for Wranglers from the 2010 model year with automatic transmissions. Debris can get caught between a transmission plate and the catalytic converter and cause a fire. Chrysler and the government are aware of at least 14 reports of fires caused by the problem.

Chrysler will notify owners of the recall later this month and Jeep dealers will fix the problem for free.
