2 Arrested For Halifax Co. Subway Robbery, Deputies Looking For 3rd Suspect

The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested two men Friday for the robbery of the West 10th Street Subway restaurant on October 28th and have identified a third suspect, Tasha Caine, wanted for Robbery With a Dangerous Weapon for her involvement in the incident.

Investigators say three armed suspects entered the restaurant with employees inside, stole cash, and ran away. Deputies say they are connected to other robberies in the area.

19-year-old Devonte Blount of Roanoke Rapids and 24-year-old Hakeem Cotton from Weldon are charged with Robbery With a Dangerous Weapon and each was given a $60,000 bond.

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says more arrests are pending.
