Toy Show for Future Farmers

Farming in the East has been called a dying industry, but this weekend the Future Farmers of America were trying to prove nay-sayers wrong.

The Beaufort County FFA Alumni Association held their seventh Annual Farm Toy Show, for farmers and enthusiast who love all things farm-life. Exhibitors have come from all across the area to pack in miniature tractors, trailers, haulers, silohs, barns.. and everything that looks like it might be on a farm into a display room at Beaufort County Community College; all in an effort to raise scholarships for FFA students.

Agriculture represents more than 60 billion dollars worth of industry employing more than 20 percent of workers across the entire state.
