She's dedicated 25 years to education and now Kathy Rigg's peers are recognizing her. At a banquet Wednesday night, Kathy Riggs was named Pitt County's Assistant Principal of the Year. Riggs has spent her career in education both as a teacher and later as an administrator. She says education is a profession that keeps her on her toes and sparks a desire to make an impact on student's lives. Riggs is joined in her recognition by Principal of the Year Dennis Teel of Falkland Elementary.
Congratulations!
