More than 1,000 people will throw on their favorite pair of walking shoes this weekend to take a stand against juvenile diabetes. More than 1,500 walkers are expected to participate in the second annual walk to cure diabetes at the Pitt County fairgrounds. This year the Triangle Eastern North Carolina chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation has a goal to raise $205,000. Many folks from WITN will be walking. It all starts at 10 a.m.
