A methamphetamine lab is at the center of another drug case, this one in New Bern. Police there say they have made their first ever bust in the city limits for such a lab. 29-year-old Rachael Stuart is charged with making the illegal drug at her residence in the Beech Grove Mobile Home Park. She faces seven drug related charges. A State Bureau of Investigation clean-up crew is on site now. Meth labs can house potentially explosive and hazardous materials. The number of labs found in our state has risen dramatically in recent years. In 2004, there were 322 uncovered. This year, that number could almost double.
