Its a special year for the Mumfest, but it certainly wasn't the festival they were hoping for.
Even with grey skies Sunday, folks still came out to support the 25th Annual Mumfest in New Bern. However, grey skies are a far cry from Saturday's torrential rains and flash flooding. The event had expected 80,000 visitors to the weekend event, but that all changed when Mother Nature opened up the skies Saturday. However, despite a lack luster Saturday, festival organizers say Sunday folks found a way to have a good time.
The festival wrapped up around 5 o'clock on Sunday.
