Despite ongoing flash flood warnings throughout the morning there were many bold drivers that took to the streets Saturday.
At a busy business complex off 15th street in Washington, not only were drivers in trucks attempting to forge their way through the high water that crested at more than a foot in some areas, but people in low-riding vehicles and compact cars braved the high waters as well. Many folks say they were just out running errands.
Many of the people we talked to say they left their homes before the flash flood warning, and simply got caught in the storm unexpectedly.
