High Demand for Flu Vaccine

High demand for the flu vaccine means some places have temporarily run out. Beaufort County Health Department officials had to cancel Friday's public flu shot clinic after nearly 500 shot's were administered to people most at risk during Thursday's clinic. The Carteret County Health Department isn't planning to administer shot's until October 13. Officials at the Craven County Health Department are stocked with the vaccine but have not scheduled a clinic as of yet. Pitt County Health Department officials have their first clinic scheduled for October 19 at the county agricultural building, and are fully stocked. Onslow County Health Department workers say Friday's first clinic went well and they have enough shots for their next clinic next Friday.
