Vice President Visits Camp Lejeune

You have the support of the nation. That was the main message given to thousands of Marines at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville Monday morning by Vice President Dick Cheney. The Vice President spoke addressed the Marines and also took part in a Purple Heart ceremony for five Marines. His speech focused on the members of the Third Battalion, 25th Marines. Most of them arrived home from Iraq last week. The battalion lost 48 Marines in the war and had more than 150 of its members wounded. In his speech, Cheney stressed to the Marines that they have America's support.
