The rebuilding of a health care facility that services almost 12,000 patients from Ayden and across Pitt County has hit a speed bump.
New equipment for patient analysis is slow to arrive to the temporary site for the Pitt Family Physicians in Ayden. Staff workers tell WITN Friday that a tentative October 10th date is now set for the opening at the towns Chamber of Commerce.
While staff members work to prepare the site, facility doctors are on call for emergency care for their patients.
