Another huge fire for Ayden firefighters and the second in as many days. Wednesday the Pitt Family Physicians building was destroyed. Thursday, a hay barn about three miles west of Wednesday’s fire went up in flames. About 50 firefighters from eight fire departments responded to the blaze. Emergency management officials say the fire is controlled, but won't be out anytime soon. While they don't know the cause yet, officials don't believe it's connected to Wednesday’s fire.
