Boil water advisories are in effect for Atlantic Beach and parts of Onslow County. Customers in the Hubert, Swansboro, Bear Creek and the Highway 24 end of Stella of Onslow County are asked to bring all water for human consumption or bring water to a boil for at least one minute before using, until 7 p.m. Friday. In Onslow County, the advisory is because of a 10 inch water main break near the Hubert Water Treatment plant following the storm. For Atlantic Beach, the advisory is in effect because of flood waters that may have contaminated drinking water there.
