It's known for its chicken and its early morning biscuits, but Saturday it was known for love.
It may have looked like your typical wedding, but what sets this one apart is that Roland and Vaneice Brown were married in a Bojangle's restaurant here in Washington Saturday. The ceremony was packed as tables were moved out to make room for the bride and groom to say their I-do's. It may sound strange to us, but to the groom, well he wouldn't get married any place else because he works there, he proposed to his wife there, and says the other employees are like his family.
The wedding had, fittingly enough, a sweet tea fountain, and while it stopped indoor business, the drive through still was open for customers. Congratulations to the happy couple.
