Tuesday night's "Decision 2005" had a little bit of everything: Upsets, newcomers to local government and incumbents retaining their seats. In the city of Greenville, Don Parrott was elected to a third term as Mayor. Tuesday night's victory celebration was short lived, as the Mayor has already started working on his goals of more hands on government representation and greater community development planning. Parrott was first elected in 2001. Since then, more than 50 homes have been refurbished in West Greenville and more than a million dollars has gone to expand Carver Library.
