Hurricanes Ruining Fishing Industry

It's been the worst year for fishing in nearly 30 years. That's how Claudia Cahoon owner of Cahoon's Seafood in Swan Quarter describes this year's fishing business. And Cahoon says another hurricane could mean the death of those that fish the waters around Hyde County. Cahoon says the waterways were just beginning to recover from Hurricane Floyd when Isabel struck in 2001. Cahoon says she's gone from 35 fishermen just a few years ago to three this year. She says business is so bad that she's considering selling her seafood business and moving on.
