Bertie County Schedules Saturday Make-up Days
Bertie County High School was closed for two days this week because of a water main break.

The old saying goes, nothing in life is free. That also applies to schools being closed because of a water main break.
Students at Bertie High School were out of class Monday & Tuesday because of the break. Now those students will have to go to class on two Saturdays as make-up days.
Those will be Saturday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 31st.
The school system says because of the limited amount of time left in the school year, Saturdays were necessary.
Dismissal for both of the make-up days will be at 1:00 p.m.
