Folks were looking for a good time Saturday, and they found it in Ayden.
It was all at the 31st Annual Collard Festival. There were rides, games, food, vendors, bands, and more all for a day of family fun. But those with a belly full of collards also decided to lend their helping hands to those affected in the gulf by Katrina. The winners of the Collard Eating Contest, gave their monetary winnings to the relief efforts.
The festival will continue and wrap up Sunday with a Gospelfest starting at four in the evening.
