Instructors with the Coastal Carolina Chapter of the Red Cross are so desperate for volunteers they're combining three classes into one. Nearly two dozen volunteers spent the day at Craven Regional Medical Center learning what it takes to become a Red Cross volunteer. Instructors taught lessons on managing a shelter, mass feedings and how to provide emotional support to disaster victims.
