15th Annual New Bern at Night Ghost Walk 2005
October 20 – 22, 2005
To celebrate New Bern’s colorful past, the Historical Society presents an annual "Ghost Walk", held each October on the weekend before Halloween. The theme for 15th annual Ghost Walk - October 20, 21 & 22 - will be the “Fabulous Fifties (1950’s)”. An array of “ghosts” from that era will tell their stories in historical homes, other sites, and the city’s oldest cemetery. It promises to be an extraordinary historical experience. Last year’s event saw over 3,000 visitors.
Arrive early on tour day and visit New Bern’s charming downtown shops, stroll along the waterfront, and enjoy local eateries. Then, join in the fun and chills at one of New Bern’s premiere events, New Bern at Night Ghost Walk. Tickets: adults - $13 in advance or $16 after October 19; children 12 and under - $10. (Discounts for groups of 20 or more.) For more information, or to purchase tickets, call the New Bern Historical Society at (252) 638-8558.
