Refreshments For A Good Cause

Refreshments for a good cause.

That's what two Washington third graders sold over the holiday weekend to help those devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Miranda Tyson and Alexis Brooks from John Cotton Tayloe Elementary School sold lemonade and cookies Sunday and Labor Day. They raised nearly $200 for hurricane relief.

Tuesday, the kids brought the money to school, to be included in the school's effort to raise money for Katrina victims.
