Gas Locks Are Selling Out

Expensive gas prices have some motorists keeping their fuel under lock and key.

Advance Auto Parts in Washington tells WITN since gas prices spiked about a week ago, they have sold several dozen gas cap locks. The store's manager says so many people have requested the item, that in some cases, certain models are on back order.

Most gas cap locks cost between $5.00 and $15.00, and police say the device is an inexpensive way to protect the gas in your car.
