The crowds didn't disappoint the Pirate players on this their first home game of the season.
However, this game also had the Pirate faithful coming back home to watch the game despite the high gas prices. It was Pirate Club Day, and Pirate clubbers came back to see the highlights and see some familiar faces of the past and catch up. No football game would be complete with out a little tailgating thrown on the side, all in all, creating one great mood.
Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium was packed as nearly 36,000 fans gathered on a great day to watch some pirate football.
