Video will be available shortly

Summer may not be over on the calendar, but ask area children and they'll say summer is over. That's because most of them went back to school Thursday. One school district has a new look. The more than 7,000 students attending Beaufort County Schools will be adhering to a brand new dress code, mandating that their shirts have collars and be tucked in. Some schools have also have uniforms. School officials say it's all a part of the objective to help these kids focus on learning. Before the start of the school year some parents publicly voiced their opposition to uniforms and dress code policy.
