New surroundings, new people and new classes. Those are just some of the situations freshman face in the transition from middle school to high school. And those unfamiliar situations can cause anxiety and stress for students. But school officials say they do their best to ease freshman into that transition. One way is through orientation sessions for both students and their parents.
