It sounds like a math organization, but the problem solving team is a lot more than its name implies, especially when it comes to one of Greenville's toughest neighborhoods. The problem solving team consists of four Greenville Police officers trying to make a difference in the West Greenville area around Martin Luther King Boulevard. The officers go door to door, talk to residents, hand out business cards with phone numbers and pager numbers. Residents say they are now starting to feel safer sitting on their porches. Officers will hold neighborhood meetings to find even more ways to lend a hand.
