Railroad Crossing Getting Upgrade

Print
Video will be available shortly

A railroad crossing in Cove City where a motorist suffered minor injuries earlier in the week is already on a State Department of Transportation schedule to be upgraded. The plan call for the installation of a gate and flashers at the railroad crossing at Old U.S. 70 and Cicero Riggs Road in Cove City. Residents on that road say they've been waiting a long time for the upgrade and feel it's an important safety measure. The gates and flashing lights are expected to be installed by fall of 2006.
