A worker is still recovering in the hospital, as state investigators try to figure out how he was injured in a sawmill accident Thursday. It happened at Weyerhaeuser's New Bern paper mill after a 25-year veteran employee who has not been identified, was seriously injured. The state Department of Labor arrived there Friday to investigate that mishap with plant safety teams. The worker is reportedly in stable condition at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
