Beefing Up Campus Security

Rapes reported last year on East Carolina University's campus have police their beefing up their force as students begin to return to campus. Especially since enrollment numbers are up this year. This semester campus police are pulling out all the stops to make sure they can accommodate the influx of student traffic in and out of doom rooms and across campus. Campus police now have 51 officers and 12 more on stand by. The university has also added several video cameras to some of their campus buses to help monitor questionable activity.
