Free College Tuition

Video will be available shortly.

Former Senator John Edward promoted a new pilot program called "College For Everyone," Wednesday at Greene Central High School. He had proposed it during his Presidential campaign. The program is operated by the Center For Promise And Opportunity Foundation and pays for the students first year of college. Organizers say Greene Central High School was chosen as the pilot partly because of the counties economic status, as they are the second poorest county in the state. If the program proves successful this year, it will expand to other high schools across the state. We also asked Edwards if he was going to run for the White House again in 2008. He refused to talk about that possibility.
