Tourism on the Crystal Coast is booming thanks to the late start of school this year. Now that summer vacation for students has been extended by a few weeks the Crystal Coast Tourism Authority is happy to report that souvenir shops, hotels, restaurants, and of course the beaches have been seeing more people this year than in years past. Most schools don't begin until late this month, a change mandated by law. Many schools used to start in early August.
