Some big changes could be coming to the Kinston, if one group's dream comes true. Two prominent civic leaders are heading a group called "Kinston's Waterfront Now." Doctor Lyn Turner, The co-chairman of group, says this initiative which is still in the discovery stage could bring major development to the Neuse River. Turner says the group envisions things like stores and restaurants to be built along the waterfront, as well as several water activities to take place on the river. The task force will meet in the next few days to develop their master plan.
