No Parking on the Grass or Dirt

If you live in the city of Greenville, you better pay attention when it comes to parking your vehicle, or you'll face a $25.00 fine. Starting Thursday, the city's neighborhood services and parking enforcement officers from the Greenville Police Department began ticketing any vehicle that's parked on unimproved surfaces. These surfaces include parking on grass or even dirt in front of your home. Rhonda Grant Jordan, neighborhood services coordinator, says this ordinance is aimed at helping to beautify the look of Greenville.
