However, Triple A says right now, it looks like Rita will miss most of the oil rigs. Some gas station owners believe we'll actually see a drop in prices by next week. Either way, it's a roller coaster ride for motorists. Portable diesel generators are positioned to keep pipelines flowing in case of power outages.
