The Rocky Mount financial advisor under investigation for scamming hundreds of retirees out of thousands of dollars was supposed to be in court Monday, but he wasn't. Joe Jones was scheduled to be sentenced for drug crimes in Nash Superior court. But Tommy Moore, a lawyer from the firm representing Jones, says the sentencing got pushed back to Wednesday morning. Jones pled guilty in March to felony possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
