There's more bad news for Tarboro and Edgecombe County as more jobs are being cut. Glenoit Fabrics has announced they will cut nearly 130 jobs starting November 18. The company has stated it will not be closing the plant, just yet. These job cuts come on the heels of another announcement several weeks ago, when Glenoit LLC, a separate fabrics company, announced it would be shutting down its plant and laying off nearly 220 people.
