A 16-year-old is recovering after lawmen say he was accidentally shot. The Wayne County sheriff's office says the boy was getting ready to skeet shoot when a gun tipped over and discharged, firing a shot into his leg. The teen was airlifted to Pitt County Memorial Hospital Saturday evening from East New Hope Road. Lawmen say no one will be charged in the incident.
