Rumble on the Roanoke Speeds Off

Its loud, its sweet, its fun, and its free. Its the Rumble on the Roanoke, and its happening this weekend.

The festival in Plymouth centers around national drag racing for power boats but has a lot more to it than just speed. There are rides for the kids, tons of food vendors for your stomachs, and there are lots of boats capable of speeds up to 140 miles per hour. And its not just a great place for you and your family, but officials say the racers love it as well.

The festivities start back up Sunday at the Plymouth waterfront in Washington County at 1 p.m. and racing lasts until 4, again all free to the public.
