Wilson Police Search For Bank Robber
The robber held up the State Employees Credit Union on Ward Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.

Wilson police are searching for a bank robber who held up a State Employees Credit Union.

The robbery happened Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the branch on Ward Boulevard.

Police say the robber handed a note to a teller, demanding money. No one was hurt.

He is described as a light skinned black man with long bushy hair, possibly wearing a wig. Police say he was wearing multiple shirts, one was a two tone white and blue shirt over a long sleeve grayish shirt. He was wearing tan pants. The robber is between 6'2" and 6'4" tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.

Police say the man ran from behind the bank towards the rear of an adjacent convenience store.

mv, I agree. with the interest the bank takes out of my account and others could pay for secuirty windows for protection for bank employees. Now, is the time that bank employees should voice their concerns. mv great-idea.

thank god! no one got hurt this time. why dont they put up some bullet proof glass between the teller and people with a drawer? lets be smarter and protect them and the money. they waste our money to fix a dirt road and other stupid things. spend our money here protect these people!!!!!!!
