Quite A View From Above

Video will be available shortly.

WITN took to the air Friday for a birdseye view of the damage along the Crystal Coast in the wake of Hurricane Ophelia. Some of the most dramatic views from the air came from the Salter Path and Indian Beach areas. That's where the Willis Seafood Market and Crab Shack were all but destroyed. There was still plenty of evidence of the damaged powerlines that left more than half of Carteret County's resident's without power. Six structures on the sound side of Emerald Isle were destroyed, 130 others saw major damage, and we saw more than 400 homes that sustained minor damage.
