A new poll in the Democratic race for governor shows State Treasurer Richard Moore within one percentage point of Lieutenant Governor Beverly Perdue.
The poll shows Perdue with a 38 to 37 percent lead over Moore.
The poll was conducted by Public Policy Polling out of Raleigh, that does not list either Moore or Perdue as clients.
Perdue lead Moore 53 to 20 percent four weeks ago.
The survey questioned 1,100 likely Democratic primary voters were on March 29th and 30th. The
survey's margin of error is plus or minus three percent.
