New Bern police has arrested a man for numerous counts of indecent liberties with a child. Forty-two-year-old Steven Alan Russell was arrested on August 26 after authorities investigated an incident involving Russell and a teenage boy on board his boat at a marina in New Bern. Now lawmen have charged Russell with more sexual offenses after evidence involving two other teenage boys came to light during the continued investigation. Police believe there may be victims all across the state and more charges are likely.
