For the second time in a little over two weeks, a train has collided with an automobile in Craven County. It happened Wednesday at the same location of an accident just two weeks ago. This accident was different though. It didn't involve a cargo train as the last accident did. This one involved a passenger train and a tractor-trailer. In fact, the train was "Operation Lifesaver," a train carrying 60 to 75 emergency officials, law enforcement, and highway patrol to highlight railroad crossing safety concerns. Two people were injured. The driver of the tractor-trailer is being cited with failure to yield.
