Salvation Army Ready to Roll

The Salvation Army in Greenville is on alert. Crews called into service would bring a field kitchen that can serve 5000 meals a day. Right now, there are 34 of those mobile kitchens in areas where Katrina has passed through. They'll also take in cleaning supplies like mops, brooms and buckets people can use to get the muck out of their homes. Captain Robbie Robbins is the commanding officer in Greenville and just returned from Florida, where Katrina struck first, a job he says is very rewarding even in times of devastation. Right now both the Salvation Army and Red Cross are accepting financial contributions but want you to hold off on food donations until they can set up a warehouse.
